1. Professional services
Melinda McDougall is a registered Medical Herbalist and a member of the National Institute of Medical Herbalists (NIMH). The services provided include health consultations, herbal prescriptions, and lifestyle advice.
2. Medical disclaimer
- Not Medical Advice: The content on this website is for informational purposes only. It is not intended to be a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
- Consult Your GP: Always seek the advice of your GP or other qualified health provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition.
- No Emergencies: This website and Melinda McDougall’s services are not for emergency medical use. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, please dial 999 or visit your nearest A&E.
- Herbal Interactions: If you are taking prescribed medication, you must disclose this during your consultation. Herbal medicines can interact with pharmaceutical drugs.
3. Bookings and cancellations
- Payment: Fees for consultations must be paid in full [at the time of booking / within 24 hours of the appointment].
- Cancellation Policy: We require at least 24 hours’ notice for any cancellations or rescheduling. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a full or partial cancellation fee.
- Refunds: Refunds for herbal tinctures or bespoke prescriptions are not available once the products have been prepared/dispensed, due to their personalised nature.
4. Privacy & data protection
Your privacy is of the utmost importance. Any personal information or health data shared during consultations is handled in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and our Privacy Policy. All clinical notes are stored securely and remain confidential.
5. Website use
